Lauralton Hall is pleased to acknowledge the generosity of alumnae, parents, trustees, foundations, corporations and friends whose spirit of giving allows her to continue her tradition of academic excellence, enhance the lives of her students and serve the community. Lauralton Hall thanks all donors for their confidence and thoughtful support of the school’s mission.
Since 1905, the Academy of Our Lady of Mercy, Lauralton Hall, has provided education in the Mercy tradition to thousands of young women—an education designed to motivate the student to "pursue knowledge, recognize truth, and respond to the needs of others."
With the generous support of countless individuals, Lauralton Hall today continues to prepare young women for entrance into the most selective colleges and universities in the country, for leadership in varied professions and within their families, and for the challenges of life itself in the 21st century.
Knowledge, not pursued for its own sake but to make a difference in the world, and skills heightened by a sense of social responsibility and self-discipline are hallmarks of a Lauralton Hall education.
Contributions from individuals, corporations, foundations, families, alumnae, and friends continue to enable Lauralton Hall to expand the scope and quality of its educational resources, and to attract a faculty committed to the core values of the Mercy tradition, learned in their respective fields of study, and dedicated to the education and social development of young women.
Gifts are critically important to Lauralton Hall because tuition alone cannot provide the enhancements and enrichment programs required for a full education today. Acquiring educational technologies, enhancing science resources, increasing tuition assistance and maintaining a 100 year old campus as a state of the art educational and athletic facility are but a few examples of the need for contributed income.
